Slender
A man, he follows. Ever closer
*gulp* I swallow, wrought with fear
A trail of blood, growing grosser
Hark! The man in black draws near
Through the forest, running faster
Terror grips with no retreat
Slender beast, death it's master
Pale claws nipping at my feet
Safe at last, a shining light
A structure, empty, but secure
All goes dark, I take to fright
The beasts eyes drip with evil, pure
Scribbled down, the image of madness
An effort in vain, an effort fast
A sketch of memories, ringed in sadness
Drawings hint at hauntings past
From the treeline, comes a form
Visage of vengeance, death's desire
A slender man, a calming stor
